Our Operation

The observatory open from 3 PM to 12PM (JST) everyday except for the new-year holidays.

Visitors have to arrive at the observatory before the sun-set time. In case of late arrival, visitors have to stay in the parking area until owls leave the observing area.　

Visitors can leave the observatory when owls are not in the observing area.

All visitor has to stay within the observing cabins or the guest rooms of Washino-Yado.

All car has to stay in the parking area. Photography using a car is prohibited.

Flash is prohibited.

AF assist light has to be turned off.

Photographers have to stay within the cabins or the guest rooms, and no equipment can be set on the river bank.
